Evangelism In Preaching
The Lord placed a great burden upon Tommy's life at the age of 19 for soul winning. As a staff member for five years, the Lord cultivated that desire by giving him many opportunities to win a lot of students for Christ. As a pastor for 24 years, he has averaged 65 baptisms each year. He has been the pastor of four churches that has seen significant growth in evangelism. His preaching is evangelistic, expository, enthusiastic and conservative to the core. He has been a leader in evangelism in the Georgia Baptist Convention, the Alabama Baptist State Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention. His heart's desire is to preach with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and with such simplicity men and women, and boys and girls will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
- In 2007 the church he served was in the top 100 churches based on attendance in the SBC for baptisms
- In 2002 baptized 141
- In 2001 baptized 128
- in 1995 baptized 85
Tommy's father was a bi-vocational pastor in Columbus, Georgia. Their two sons, Tommy, Jr and Stephen are also young preachers. At the present time, there are seven ministers in the Fountain Family. Throughout his ministry, he has established close and long lasting relationships with many pastors across the country. His love for pastors is evident in the time he spends with them at meetings, fellowships with them and is available at a moments notice to encourage and pray with them. He has had the privilege to serve as an Associational Missionary where he has developed a very close relationship with his Pastors. Tommy is a Pastor to Pastors. His wife, Dianne is a dear friend to many of the pastor's wives, and no one can listen confidentially and encourage the first lady of the church like she can.

Equipping the People
There is no doubt the Lord has blessed the Sunday School/Bible Study ministries under Tommy's leadership. He is well equipped to assist churches in Sunday School growth, and determining the space needed for growth, as well as creating new space. A Sunday School Conference can be taught upon request. In 1989, he developed a 13 week study to disciple men for Christ called "The Yokefellow Ministry". The tool has been used by many and is a favorite in the churches he served. Tommy is also available to teach churches how to transition to a blended style of worship. A conference could be led on the associational level as well. Dianne is available to lead a Women's Ministry or Bible Study during the Revival meetings, and she is also a featured speaker at Ladies events. Tommy and Dianne have a servant's heart. They love people and people love them.
